Monday, 14th September 2020 6.00 pm Heading up his 4 piece band the London via Sweden singer-songwriter and guitarist, Axel Jansson delivers an eruption of hook-heavy, rhythmic melodies paired with the unrestrained raw essence of early rock, often garnering comparisons to Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty but it’s his expressive and unusual voice that really sets him apart.

Tuesday, 15th September - 5.30 pm Raised on rock and folk by legendary parents (Mary Hopkin and Tony Visconti) and writes songs that reflect her upbringing and jobs in the real world. She plays 12-string, saxophone, percussion and vocals in the Bowie supergroup Holy Holy with her father Tony Visconti and Spiders from Mars drummer Woody Woodmansey. As happy in a tiny club or a large theatre, she performs live with her acoustic guitar, percussion strapped to her army boots.

Since his weight loss, Tom has been training in opera, and sang Nessun Dorma at the 2017 BBC Proms In The Park with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

On Monday, 14th September, we kick off with a Stay Up Late music session, with mixture of great live and pre-recorded musicians from the UK, Ireland and US. On Saturday night, there is an international Stay Up Late DJ takeover with DJ’s from Finland, Scotland and the US playing their favourite tunes for you.

Her genre of music is Folk, Alternative Folk, Country and she has released a studio album ‘I Can Hear the Wind Blow’ Recently Vivien has regularly been played on the BBC Radio Scotland “Iain Anderson Show”.
