Electronic Glasgow

Electronic Glasgow is a growing collective formed to shout about and celebrate the city's electronic music culture. Young Scotland's Got Talent

Young Scotland’s Got Talent (YSGT) was set up in 2010 to lobby for better employment support for people with learning disabilities and individuals on the autistic spectrum who want to work. Since then we have delivered over 20 events throughout Scotland. On 29 July we delivered our first online YSGT to honour young people with additional needs who have bee working on the frontline throughout lockdown. We will be featuring throughout the week some of the highlights from the event.

Alcoholism - More than Drinking

While there are millions of people who drink too much, there are, on average 5-7 people who are affected by someone else's alcoholism.

Pia Hyppönen talks about how growing up with alcoholism can affect living, learning and educational processes over a lifetime and what we can learn from it.

Tom Urie

6.30 pm

Best known as the regular character "Big Bob" in the BBC drama "River City," Tom is an actor, singer, voice over artist and composer/musician.  In the period between 2016 and 2017, Tom went through a dramatic transformation, losing over 260 pounds in weight.  Since his weight loss, Tom has been training in opera, and sang Nessun Dorma at the 2017 BBC Proms In The Park with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

The Ronains

7.30 pm

The Ronains bring together a mixture of new wave and rock and roll to form a unique live sound, and have enjoyed performing to packed venues across the country including sold out shows from the O2 ABC, Glasgow to The Cavern Club, Liverpool, supporting the likes of Jake Bugg and Gerry Cinnamon along the way.
