Stay Up Late Scotland

A new campaign has been launched called Stay Up Late Scotland, a spin off from UK campaign Stay Up Late , originally borne from an idea from director Paul Richards in the 90s has been running in UK for eight years.  The campaign focuses on supporting people with disabilities to go out to see live music , clubbing or meeting up with friends , considered a normal part of everyday life for most people.

Often those with a disability may need support to do this. Research has found that many people with a disability aren't able to lead full and active social lives events after 9.00 pm.  Stay Up Late Scotland’s manifesto is people with a learning disability have the right to stay up late and have fun.

The Scottish campaign have a network of people and organisations who are committed to enabling people with learning disabilities to lead great social lives.
