Grow Bigger Lives
3:45 pm

Grow Bigger Lives are an inclusive peer support network for all adults - boosting confidence around social opportunities and trying new things, looking at what gets in the way of good social lives, making connections, etc? For some it is finding someone with similar interests, it can also be confidence, money, transport, disability, support costs. Or having people you identify with and trust.  We all recognise that small and local connections are usually best. We don’t want to get in the way, but find ways to add to your existing network of people, knowledge, skills and experience.  Growing Bigger Lives is a space to make practical next steps to grow a bigger life with support from others.

Elemental
3:15 pm

Glasgow duo ELEMENTAL got together early in 2011 to start writing some modern Blues and rock material.  Members  Lynn (vocals), Gordon (Guitar)  Combining the elements of Rock and blues, stripping back to basics, and pushing the boundaries of musicality saw their first album (2016) celebrate original material and classic covers.  They are versatile to gig at varying levels, from intimate bar settings to festival stages and have 3 hours of material spanning the decades.  Specialising mainly in acoustic rock, blues and country we like to have fun with popular covers in our own unique style, as well as keeping our sound fresh with new material!  The band set up includes vocal, guitar, guitar slide and stomp box (Jimmy) Click on the picture below to check out Elemental's facebook page.

In the Picture - Some short Films from Speech Bubble
5:45 pm

For the last block of sessions last year Speech Bubble decided to do some film making.  Five of their young people each made a short film.  They learned about how to tell a story and different film genres.  Everyone chose their own styles and told their own stories and as you will see we finished up with five very different films ranging from wholesome feel good to epic drama.
