John Dalrymple and Michael McEwan welcome everyone to the final day of the festival and give us an introduction to our fantatstic programme of events for today. This will be followed by a hustings session from Enable Scotland.

Tufty Club
1:00 pm
The Tufty Club are from Glasgow’s Southside. Singer/Songwriter Dougie Mclellan had been working on solo projects in collaboration with Alan Hamilton under the band name Arclite. After producing an EP entitled The President Will Call in 2018, Alistair McColl (Piano/Keys/Guitar) and Ian McGinlay (Bass) were added to the lineup with a view to taking these songs out on the live circuit.

Radical Visions for Social Care

Frances Brown and John Dalrymple will be telling us about the work they do in Radical Visions. This session aims to be a celebration of what can be achieved in social care in Scotland both now and in the future, despite the difficulties that often have to be negotiated and overcome.

David Brown - Musician

Come along and listen to some fantastic music from David Brown. David studied at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and has appeared in many many plays over the years including ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’, ‘The Phantom of The Opera:. Fionn, Magnus, Esther & Friends

Fionn, Magnus and Esther are friends from Ireland and Scotland who have a love of traditional music and a passion to play some tunes. They come together regularly to share their talents and here they will be performing as part of the Stay Up Late Scotland event at the festival, sharing music, chat and laughter!'

Hustings Session - Enable Scotland

A hustings session from Enable Scotland.

increase the number of people who have a learning disability who vote.

Jim Jack and John Graham
1:30 pm
John and Jim have been playing together for the last ten years and their act evokes much of the spirit of the folk revival with ample opportunities to join in choruses and a fair smattering of humour.
The Duo released their first album as a duo ‘Sae Will We Yet’ in May 2018. They have just recorded a second album ‘The Darkening West’ which is due for release in late April 2022.

New Routes Home

Alastair Minty talks to us about New Routes Home, which is a partnership of interested individuals and organisations across Scotland who campaign for the right of all people with disabilities to have their own home and to have meaningful choices around where they live, and who (if anyone) lives with them. This includes having choices around how support is organised and directed.

Amber Weijzig

Amber Weijzig, Talented musician, performer, film maker, Actor and Sports Leader.
Amber is persuing a career in music alongside working hard to become a qualified dance fitness leader and is actively looking for opportunities in this area. She has performed in the Clutha Bar, Barrowlands, SGW3, Busking and recently appeared in The National as part of The Joy Brigade Series for her singing during lockdown. Amber will also be showcasing her film 'The Amber Weijzig Days' - A Film by Amber - Speech Bubble Drama
